When looking at the the inventoryagent.log on my clients, I would see the line:
Inventory: Opening store for action {00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001} ...
I could see that 1 was the hardware inventory because of all the WMI references, but what were the others? After some research I have found out! The full reference is here.
